ChowdhuryX Organization LLC is hiring an experienced Oracle Cloud ERP – Vertex EIT Consultant for one of our enterprise partners. This is a remote opportunity supporting large-scale finance and tax transformation initiatives.
We are looking for a strong functional-technical professional with deep expertise in Vertex O Series and Oracle Cloud ERP integrations.
Role Overview
The selected candidate will lead the implementation, configuration, integration, and support of Vertex Indirect Tax O Series solutions integrated with Oracle Cloud ERP applications.
Key Responsibilities

- Lead Vertex Indirect Tax O Series solution including design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support
- Define and manage tax categories, taxability mapping, and tax codes within Vertex and integrated systems
- Support integrations between Vertex O Series and Oracle Cloud ERP modules (Accounts Payable, Procurement, Receivables, etc.)
- Configure and troubleshoot issues between Vertex and Oracle Cloud ERP
- Collaborate with Oracle Cloud technical teams to ensure seamless data flow and resolve integration-related issues
- Apply strong knowledge of Indirect Tax laws (Sales & Use Tax) to ensure compliance and accurate configuration
- Stay current with Vertex software updates, tax law changes, and industry best practices
- Provide timely support for Vertex O Series incidents including tax calculation discrepancies and system errors
- Perform routine system health checks, maintenance activities, and user access management
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization
- Work closely with business users, finance teams, IT teams, and external vendors
Requirements
- Required Experience
- 7–10 years of strong hands-on experience with Vertex O Series
- Experience integrating Vertex with Oracle Cloud ERP applications
- Strong understanding of Indirect Tax (Sales & Use Tax) processes
- Experience supporting Oracle Cloud ERP Financial modules
- Ability to work independently in remote delivery environments
- Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of industry-specific tax regulations (Healthcare, Insurance, etc.)
- Working knowledge of Oracle Cloud ERP Financial modules (Accounts Payable, Procurement preferred)
